Harriette Lewcock in Year 7 has been having some amazing success in her competitive swimming lately. In a recent Level 3 competition in December 2017, she achieved 3 x 1st places and 3 x 2nd places. The 1st were for 50m, 100m and 200m backstroke. The 2nds were for 50m, 100m and 200m freestyle.

She is currently competing in the ASA Devon County Championships at Plymouth Life Centre where she came 3rd in the 100m freestyle, and 1st in the 50m backstroke… making her Devon Champion and 21st in Britain.

More recently she competed in 200m freestyle where she came 4th. However in the 100m backstroke took 1st place with an incredible time of 1.13.41…. making her currently 11th in Britain.

She still has 3 events in which to compete including the 200m backstroke, the 50m freestyle and the 100m individual medley, so we are eagerly awaiting more good news! Harriette is very dedicated and training 5/6 times a week currently to ensure she is a the peak of her performance. Well done Harriette – we look forward to adding to your success story!
